Elviria
Situated between Marbella and Calahonda Elviria has long been a popular holiday resort and is home to the Santa Maria Golf and country Club which is one of the Coasts more challenging golf courses.
Incorporating the beautiful port of Cabopino as well as some stunning mountain scenery inland, the area of Elviria is well suited for families and has become increasingly popular for second homes as well as a full time residence for many foreign visitors.
Elviria itself has a great deal to offer the tourist ideal for, families, groups and especially well located for golfers, with its own town hall, post office, schools, bars, restaurants and shopping centers , together with a wide selection of places to relax, enjoy a drink or meal. Elviria is situated just a few hundred meters from Golden beaches, and the charming Puerto Cabopino which is an makes a great place for a meal and evening out.
From the village centre the
land rises gently at first past the Santa Maria golf course, then more steeply to the top of Elviria Mountain, home to La Mariena and Hofsas Tennis College. As this is a coastal urbanization most homes are within walking distance of the beach, although recently more inland places have been built, Elviria Hills and Jardines de Santa Maria golf being a couple of the urbanizations located a little farther from the coast.
There are many local attractions nearby, Marbella with its excellent attractions including Orange Square with superb dining facilities and beautiful beached, Puerto Banús with its famous ports with luxury yachts and stylish boutiques.
Located on the coast around 10km east of Marbella Elviria is approximately 30 minutes from Malaga International airport which services most major European destinations. Elviria is home to many superior quality developments and urbanizacions most of which on an elevated position overlooking the sea.
