You can of course spend your time by one of the three pools, while the kids play in their own pool, relax in the Jacuzzi pool, while you enjoy he stunning sea and coastal views. Or you may decided to take a short bus or taxi ride and spend the day at Aqua Park or the Zoo at Fuengirola. If you like to visit the local markets you can always visit Fuengirola on a Tuesday, or La Cala on a Monday both markets are huge and offer a vast selection of clothes, local produce and gifts for your friends and family. Marbella with its many designer shops, orange square or of course the golden beaches and tradtional spanish beach bars, wil take you 30 minutes by car or taxi, a bus ride will take slightly longer depending on traffic and the time of year.

This is a great complex for a relaxing stress free family, group or golfing holiday, the location is ideal, and car hire is not necessary unless you are here for the golf, or you would like to visit a few of the great attractions already mentioned.

The beach is only a brief walk and you don’t have to leave the complex if you use the private gated access, there are beach bars, water sports when available and you can hire sun loungers and parasols, public toilet facilities are also available for use.

Calahonda is located close to several golf courses, and has the typically sun-drenched beaches for which the Mediterranean is famous, and we dream about when we are on the plane traveling to our chosen holiday destination.

This popular and established holiday destination has something for all, and is still good value for money with menu of the day, tapas bars and a selection of well priced supermarkets and gift shops. The local markets are also great places to find some bargains to take home with you. There are great places to visit all located within easy reach, Marbella fun beach is less the 10 minutes by car and is a great family day out, but make sure you go early, other places of interest and the newly reformed Zoo at Fuengrola, Aqua Park at Mijas Costa, horse riding and tennis are both available in Calahonda and not forgetting the golfers...this is an ideal location from which to travel to some of the coasts best golf courses.
